PROPER INSTALLATION
TECHNIQUES
Proper installation techniques:
When installing allure it is vital for a successful
installation that as much pressure is exerted when
attaching plank to plank. Utilize a hand roller
directly on the joined seam to create the proper
bond between the GripStrips
™
as you attach each
plank. After completion roll the entire floor in both
directions with a 75 to 100 lb roller. Pressure is the
key. To insure proper bonding of the material on
the job site, take two planks and attach together
and roll with the hand roller and then pull apart.
A bond should be observed throughout the whole
GripStrip. Adhesive legs or adhesive transfer
should be seen on the GripStrips. This will confirm
the material has been acclimated properly and the
temperature of the allure is ready for installation.
Installation
Plan your layout before installation starts. Measure
the length of the room and divide by the length
(long side) of the allure plank you are installing.
If the number is less than 12" you need to cut your
first plank accordingly to avoid planks less than
12" on the opposite side of the room.
Also measure the width of the room. Divide the
width of the room by the width of the allure plank
(short side). If the number is less than half the width
of the plank, then your first row needs to be cut
length wise on both the first and last rows (they
should be the same width on the first and last
rows). Avoid having a row of less that half the
width of the plank being installed. To cut a plank
simply measure and mark the plank, then using
your straight edge and utility knife, simply score the
plank and snap.

Instalación
Planifique su disposición antes de que comience la
instalación. Mida la longitud de la habitación y
divida por la longitud (lado largo) de la tabla de
allure que está instalando.
Si el número es inferior a 12' tienes que cortar la
primera duela en consecuencia para evitar
tablones de menos de 12' en el lado opuesto de
la habitación.
También mida el ancho de la habitación. Dividir
el ancho de la habitación por el ancho de la
duela del encanto (lado corto). Si el número es
menos de la mitad de la anchura de la tabla, a
continuación, su primera fila necesita ser cortado
longitud sabia tanto en la primera y última filas
(que deberían tener la misma anchura en la
primera y última filas). Evitar tener una fila de
menos que la mitad del ancho de la duela se instala.
Para cortar un tablón simplemente Mida y marque
el tablón, luego simplemente con el borde recto y
el cuchillo, anotar el tablón y broche de presión.
