General Information The information provided in this manual is intended for use when adding human interface support to a Precedent or Voyager™ Light Commercial unit that has ReliaTel™ controls.The work involved in this upgrade consists of the following: If theTD-5 human interface is disconnected from the ReliaTel™ Refrigeration Module, the local setpoints from the potentiometer are used. Note that setpoints created from a building automation system (BAS) take precedence over setpoints created by theTD-5.

Failure to disconnect power and discharge capacitors before servicing could result in death or serious injury. Disconnect all electric power, including remote disconnects and discharge all motor start/run capacitors before servicing. Follow proper lockout/ tagout procedures to ensure the power cannot be inadvertently energized.

Reconnect all cables/wires that were removed from the existing module to the new module.
