Introduction
Scope of the guide
This version of the guide applies to the 8900VS and 8900KS,
running Windows Embedded Standard operating system, rm-
ware 1.1.0 and manufactured after October 1st, 2009.
To nd the build version, goes under:
Control Panel > System >General

INTENDED USE
This Quick Guide is intended to assist you in the basic operation of the Kinysis series rugged mobile computer.
The guide assumes that the user has a minimal skills about:
• Using the Operating System (Windows embedded Standard) and associated
programs;
• Running communication to install les and programs;
• How to Use the external applications that he might have to install;
The guide could refer the user to more detailed information using the pdf Help le located on the unit.
