A range of oponal accessories are oered with the CE8640B (sealed RJ45, DB9 (RS232) and USB host connec-
tors, integrated 1D and 2D barcode reader (CMOS imager), 1D laser barcode scanner, and desktop and vehicle
cradles), consequently allowing the unit to be customized and built to all industry requirements.
Integrated into the CE8640B are a PC Card and SDIO slot allowing for added memory or oponal peripheral
devices.
Staying producve in the eld is made easy with a 2400 mAH Lithion-Ion baery (fast swappable) which pro-
vides 2 to 4 working days under typical environments.
The CE8640B provides ulmate ruggedness
in all environments, being rated IP67 (sealed
against immersion) and meeng MIL-STD-810F
standards for humidity, rain, immersion, and
free fall drops.
Extend the reach of your handheld from the eld by choosing the Wireless Edion (Bluetooth, 802.11b/g).
Featured with the Xscale (Bulverde) processor (520 MHz), the CE8640B provides increased speed to enhance
eld performance and eecveness. Fied with Windows CE 5.0 Operang System, the CE8640B will allow you
to ulize essenal applicaons.
Memory storage for your data is assured with the CE8640B – 256 MB Storage Flash and 128 MB SRAM, with
oponal addional storage via the PC Card and SDIO slot.
With a 1/2 VGA color LCD (STN transecve) touch screen display, users can view applicaons in various light-
ing environments whether indoors or outdoors.
The CE8640B oers a highly rugged 64-key keypad (QWERTY or AZERTY) that allows for easy data-entry even
when used with gloves.
