TDM bus in the event of either a TDM connection failure, or a failure of the TDM cir-
cuit in the master
reader, which also reduces the number of readers that will generate
TDM failure messages in any
one of these failure scenarios.
Physical Remedies
By adjusting the angle or position of the downlink and uplink antennas, you may be
able to minimize cross-lane interference.
Warning
Switch off RF power before working on antennas.
Adjusting the Antenna’s Uptilt Angle
Lowering an antenna’s uptilt angle between the antenna cover and th
e horizon gener-
ally reduces the interference (Figure 5-5).
