Thank you for your purchase of Treasure Garden’s AP13 Ultimate Party Cantilever Umbrella. WARRANTY: Treasure Garden warrants this product (in residential use) to be free from defects in original materials and workmanship for a period of 2 year from the date of purchase. If a defect in the original material or workmanship appears during the warranty period; Treasure Garden will (at its option) repair or replace the product without charge.
After the Winter: • Areas subject to turning and sliding can be treated with a non-staining lubricant spray (silicone-based). • Check the condition and function of the umbrella. Any defects must be repaired by a professional. CAUTION: Fully assembled, the AP13 umbrella weighs over 500 lbs. Moving the umbrella fully assembled will increase the risk of damage to your umbrella and/or can cause serious injury. We recommend a two-person team for assembly and disassembly.
S T E P 1 Base Assembly Select area to set base frame and place in desired location. NOTE: Moving the umbrella will be difficult once fully assembled. Screw (4) feet onto bottom of base frame with supplied (4) screws (Fig. 1). LEVELING: If needed, adjust base frame corners using supplied wrench until base is level (Fig. 6). Now, place rotating hub onto base frame and secure with supplied (5) bolts & (5) washers (Fig. 2). NOTE: ROTATING HUB IS IN SEPARATE BOX INSIDE UMBRELLA CARTON.
To use iPod or MP3: Install iPod/Remote Holder onto side of main frame grip. Line up holes on back side of holder to main frame grip and slide into place (Fig. 33). Holder can hold remote control or your iPod/MP3 player. Plug one end of the music adapter cord to the iPod or MP3 and plug the other end into the media center (Fig. 34). Select music to play on your iPod/MP3.
S T E P 3 Center Speaker/Light Assembly Slowly turn the crank lift handle clockwise to slightly open the umbrella to allow yourself enough room to install center speaker/light. NOTE: It is possible you may need to loosen up the ribs by shaking gently to help with opening umbrella. DO NOT FORCE OPEN! Remove protective cap off connector on center speaker/light (Fig. 10). Attach center speaker/light connector to plug hanging from lower hub (Fig. 11). NOTE: Make sure holes line up on connector and plug (Fig.
S T E P 4 Operation To Open Canopy: AP13 Features Plug In Lights: Insert plug into main frame (Fig. 26). Plug other end into wall. To turn on center light, press switch up (Fig. 27). AP13 Features AP13 Features To OPERATE the 360° Rotating Hub Swivel: To TILT: Place your foot on the foot pedal of the rotating hub and step-on the base pedal to release rotating lock (Fig. 21). Place both hands on the main frame (Fig. 22) and swivel the umbrella frame in either direction until desired position is reached (Fig. 23). Step off the foot pedal to engage rotating lock and lock position (you will hear the pedal click, as it reaches the next available lock position).
