S T E P 6 Replace Canopy & Finial

Turn crank to lower canopy. Replace canopy back

onto umbrella and reattach finial by turning clockwise

(Fig. 15). Place umbrella upright in base. Your

umbrella is now ready for use.

S T E P 5 Insert New Rib From Notch

Insert new rib into notch, carefully aligning the pin in its slot (Fig. 12). Replace the top half of

notch. Make certain the guide is aligned with its corresponding hole (Fig. 13). Replace the

top half of the notch and screw it back into place (Fig. 14).

S T E P 4 Remove Rib From Notch

Crank umbrella open. Remove umbrella from base and set it down sideways on a soft, flat

surface with the broken rib facing up. Using a philips screwdriver, unscrew notch, remove

top and set aside (Fig. 10). Remove the broken rib from notch and discard (Fig. 11).

These instructions are specifically for Treasure Garden’s collar tilt, auto tilt or push button series umbrellas. Using a philips screwdriver, remove screws from runner (Fig. 4) and set screw aside. Place the umbrella upside down (Fig. 5), being careful not to dislodge the ribs from the runner.
