Connecting the TrekStor Liro Color to a computer
Use the included micro-USB cable to connect your Liro Color to a USB port of your
computer.
The microSD/microSDHC card reader of the Liro Color is recognized as a second
Device with Removable Storage or Drive. You can access Device with Removable
Storage only if a memory card (max. storage capacity 32 GB) is inserted in the card
slot.
Windows® 7/Vista™/XP
Your operating system automatically detects the Liro Color and adds a Device with
Removable Storage to My Computer/Computer.
Mac® OS X from 10.4
Your operating system automatically detects the Liro Color and adds a Drive to
Desktop.
Using a memory card
Make sure that the card is aligned with the contacts facing down. Insert it into the
card reader and press until the memory card snaps in.
Please consider that the memory card and the device can be damaged if the
memory card is inserted incorrectly.
To remove the memory card, press it briefly, until a click is heard. Now you can
remove the card from the device.
If a memory card is inserted into the device or withdrawn, it may take a while until
the unit has updated the content.
Please avoid inserting or ejecting a memory card, while other processes are running,
as this may cause a system hang.
Remove the card also not, when content is just being played from the memory card.
This stops the operation of the device and can cause that a restart is required.
Restrictions on NTFS file systems
In case your memory card is NTFS formatted, stored eBooks are not recognized by
Adobe® Digital Editions, if your device is connected to the PC. (Recommended file system:
FAT32).
Direct copying of files from the internal memory to the memory card is not supported for
NTFS formatted memory cards. This function is only possible with FAT32 formatted
memory cards.
