GotoStart>Run.

1. Typecmd.



2. PressOK.

3. TypeipconfigtogettheIPaddressofyourDefaultGateway.Seeexamplebelow.



4. Type“ping192.168.1.254”(basedontheaboveexample).Assurethatyoupingthe

correctIPAddressassignedtothe150MbpsMobileWirelessNRouter.Itwillshow

fourrepliesifyoupingcorrectly.Seeexamplebelow.



Ensure that your Ethernet Adapter is working, and that all network drivers are

installed properly. Network adapter names will vary depending on your specific 

adapter.Theinstallationstepslistedbelowareapplicableforallnetworkadapters.

1. GotoStart>Rightclickon“MyComputer”>Properties.

2. SelecttheHardwareTab.

3. ClickDeviceManager.

4. Double‐clickon“NetworkAdapters”.

5. Right‐clickonWirelessCardbusAdapteroryourspecificnetworkadapter.

6. SelectPropertiestoensurethatalldriversareinstalledproperly.

7. LookunderDeviceStatustoseeifthedeviceisworkingproperly.

8. Click“OK”.
