8. Verify that the status LED indicators on the front of the router to confirm that the device is fully

functional: Power (Green), Internet (Green/Blinking), Wireless N (Green), Wireless AC (Green)

and LAN (1, 2, 3, 4) (Green/Blinking).

Note: It is recommended that you configure the Wireless Router from a wired computer.

6. Connect the power adapter to the router and then to a power outlet.

7. Power on your modem. Wait until the LEDs indicate that modem is fully functional. For more

information on your modem's LEDs, please refer with your modem's user's guide.

9. Open your web browser; the login screen will automatically appear. If the login screen does not

appear, type http://tew-818dru into the address bar of the web browser and press enter.

10. Select the desired Language. For your security, we have configured each router with a predefined

user name and password. You can find the default user name and password on the labels at the

side and bottom of the router.Enter the User Name and Password and then click Login.

Note: You can also access the device using the default IP address (http://192.168.10.1).

Note: EU models have an on/off switch. Please move the power switch to the “On” position.
