Wireless Settings 5GHz
Note: The following section will have different options bases on chosen Channel Access
Mode and Operation Mode of the access point. Not all menu options will apply.
For Access Point and WDS Access Point modes:
Enabled Check the box to enable this wireless radio. Deselected box indicates
radio is off.
SSID The SSID of the radio.
Edit To edit the SSID settings, click Edit. **if the pop-up window does not
appear, please disable the browser’s ad/pop-up blocker**
Security Displays the security type assigned to this SSID.
Hidden SSID Check the box to hide this SSID name from broadcasting.
Client Isolation Check the box to block communication between associated
clients under the same WLAN.
VLAN Isolation When this option is selected with a specified VLAN ID in the
SSID profile, all traffic associated with this SSID will be tagged with this VLAN ID
upon entering the LAN Bridge.
L2 Isolation Check the box to isolate on a layer-2 basis.
Note: CSMA Access Point mode can have 8 radios, CSMA WDS Access Point can have 4,
TDMA AP and WDS AP only can have 1.
Management Interface (TDMA AP and WDS AP Only)
This interface is for wireless clients to wireless connect to and manage the AP
when the AP is set to TDMA. A secondary wireless radio is required in order for
standard 802.11 wireless devices to connect to it.
Clicking Edit from above, Wireless Settings.
Security Mode Select the mode from the dropdown menu.
Encryption Select the mode from the dropdown menu.
Passphrase Enter the Wi-Fi passphrase in this field.
Group Key Update Interval Enter the time between group key updates.
Fast Roaming (access point mode only) Check Enable to enable fast roaming.
Wireless MAC Filter Select from the ACL dropdown to allow or deny, and
ender in the MAC Address.
Wireless Traffic Shaping Select Enable to enable this feature. Enter in the
desired limits and then press save.
