Addadaptersintheutilityandcreateacustomizedencryptionkey
IfyouhavenotwrittendowntheDevicePassword(DPW)andMACaddressforeachof
yourPowerlineadapters,pleasedosoasitisrequiredtoapplyingthecustomized
encryptionkeyforallofyourPowerlineadaptersusing
theutility.Thisinformationison
thestickerontheinsidefaceofeachadapter.
Note:WritedowntheDevicePassword(DPW)(16‐digitcharactersA‐Zonly)and
MACAddress(12‐digitcharactersa‐f,A‐F,0‐9)ofeachPowerlineadapterfirst
beforeproceeding.

First,addallofthePowerlineadapterstotheutilityandentertheDevicePassword
(DPW)foreachPowerlineadapterto
ensureyoucanchangetheencryptionkeyfor
multipleadapters.ThisisrequiredwhenusingthePowerlineutilitytochangethe
encryptionkeyformultipleP owerlineadapters.
ToaddautomaticallydetectedPowerlineadapterstothePowerlineUtility
1.LaunchthePowerlineUtility.
2.InthePowerlineUtilityMainwindow,
waitfortheutilitytoautomaticallyscanfor
PowerlineadaptersalreadyconnectedtoyourPowerlinenetwork.IfyourPowerline
adaptershavealreadybeeninstalledandconnectedusingthesameencryptionkey,
theyshouldappearintheRemoteDevicelist.
3.SelectoneofthePowerlineadapterslistedunderRemote
Device.
4.ClickEnterPassword.
