Assembly Instructions

IMPORTANT:
• ALL INSTALLATION WORK SHOULD BE DONE BY ACCREDITED PROFESSIONAL.
• SHUT OFF POWER SUPPLY AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER!
• USE ONLY THE SPECIFIED BULBS. DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE!
PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION
Remove all of the contents from the carton. See the important notes above. Remove the
old xture from the ceiling, including the old mounting strap.
1. Take the mounting strap assembly from the parts bag. Mounting strap (B) contains
threaded holes. Two of mounting screws (A) should be attached to mounting strap (B). You
may need to tighten nuts (C) that hold these screws in place.
2. Place mounting strap (B) over the junction box so that mounting screws (A) are vertical,
andinalignmentwiththeholelocationsonthexture’scanopy(F).Securemountingstrap
(B) to the junction box with mounting screws (D) and a screwdriver. Tighten the screws
securely.
CLEANING TIPS
Treat the xture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn off the light and wipe down the
xture with a clean lint-free cotton or microber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the xture.

LONG RODS - UP or Down Installation
PLEASE NOTE:
Thisxturemaybemountedwiththe
sockets and glass facing up or down.
Please decide which rods you would like
to use, and then choose whether you
would like the glass to face up or down
and follow the corresponding instructions.
ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE
3. Determine whether you would like to use the long or short rods and whether you
would like the sockets and glass to be mounted facing up or down.
If you would like the glass to face up,usethelongrods.Turnxtureframe(L)sothatthe
sockets are pointing up. Only longer rods may be used for this installation option.
If you would like the glass to face down,turnxtureframe(L)sothatthesocketsarepointing
down.Youwillalsoneedtoadjustthexture’swirestocreateenoughslacktomaneuverthe
wired rod through the frame to change the orientation. You have two rod lengths from which
to choose. Determine your hanging height and make a rod selection.
4.Gentlyplacethextureonaatsurface.
5. Have an assistant hold the top loop assembly. Attach one end of rods (J) to rings (K) of the
xtureframe.Attachthefreeendofrods(J)toloop(I)oncanopy(F).
CONNECTING THE WIRES
6.Haveanassistantsupportthexture’sweightwhilecompletingthewiring.Refertothe
wiringdiagrambelowandattachthexture’swiresto the power supply wires from the
junction box. Connect Hot to Hot, Neutral to Neutral, and Ground to Ground. Twist the ends
of the wire pairs together, and then twist on a wire connector. Make sure all twists are in
the same direction. If there is no house ground wire coming from the junction box, locate
groundscrew(E)onthemountingbracket/mountingstrapandwrapthexture’sground
wire around the ground screw. Use a screwdriver to tighten the top of ground screw (E) onto
the wires and into the mounting bracket/mounting strap. Tuck the wires into the junction
box.
FINISHING THE INSTALLATION
7. Place canopy (F) over mounting screws (A) so that they protrude through the holes in the
front of the canopy. Thread deco nuts (H) onto mounting screws (A). Tighten securely until the
canopy is snug against the ceiling.
Slide glass shades (M) over sockets (L) and secure in place with socket covers (N). Install
lightbulbs(notprovided)inaccordancewiththexture’sspecications.Donotexceed
the maximum recommended wattage.
Yourinstallationisnowcomplete.Turnonthepowerandtestthexture.
