Step 1 å Assemble your unit on a carpeted floor or on the empty carton to avoid scratching your unit or the floor. å Push ten HIDDEN CAMS (5) into the BACKS (B and E), UPRIGHT (F), and END (H). Step 3 å Turn twenty-four CAM SCREWS (7) into the LEFT TOP (C), RIGHT TOP (D), UPRIGHT (F), RIGHT END (H), SHELF (DD), SMALL DRAWER FRONT (S) and LARGE DRAWER FRONT (W).
Step 4 å Fasten four METAL BRACKETS (10) to the RIGHT END (H) and LEFT UPRIGHT (F). Use four BLACK 1/2" PAN HEAD SCREWS (22). å NOTE: Be sure the METAL BRACKETS are even with edges of the END and UPRIGHT. å NOTE: Be sure to position the BRACKETS exactly as shown.
Step 5 å Fasten the UPRIGHT LEG (G) to the UPRIGHT (F). Use two BLACK 1/2" PAN HEAD SCREWS (22) through the METAL BRACKETS on the UPRIGHT and into the UPRIGHT LEG. å Fasten the RIGHT END LEG (J) to the RIGHT END (H). Use two BLACK 1/2" PAN HEAD SCREWS (22) through the METAL BRACKETS on the RIGHT END and into the RIGHT END LEG.
Step 6 å Fasten the UPRIGHT LEG (G) to the UPRIGHT (F) as shown in the left diagram. Use two BLACK 2" PAN HEAD SCREWS (16). å Fasten the RIGHT END LEG (J) to the RIGHT END (H ) as shown in the right diagram. Use two BLACK 2" PAN HEAD SCREWS (16).
Step 7 å Fasten the EXTENSION BLOCKS (R) to the RIGHT END (H) and UPRIGHT (F). Use eight BLACK 1" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (19). 19 BLACK 1" FLAT HEAD SCREW (8 used in this step) These small holes must be here. J R R H G R F R These small holes must be here.
Step 8 å Separate the EXTENSION SLIDES (4) from the EXTENSION RAILS (3) as shown in the upper diagram below. Be prepared, the parts are greasy. å Fasten the EXTENSION RAILS (3) to the EXTENSION BLOCKS (R) on the RIGHT END (H) and UPRIGHT (F). Use four BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (23). å NOTE: For each EXTENSION RAIL, turn a SCREW into the hole shown in the enlarged diagram. Then, slide the inner cartridge of the EXTENSION RAIL in to find the other hole that lines up with the hole in the END and UPRIGHT.
Step 9 å Fasten the RIGHT DRAWER SLIDE (2) to the EXTENSION RAIL (R) on the RIGHT END (H). Use two BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (23). å Fasten the LEFT DRAWER SLIDE (1) to the EXTENSION RAIL (R) on the UPRIGHT (F). Use two BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (23). 23 BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREW (4 used in this step) 2 Use the 6th hole from the end of the DRAWER SLIDE.
Step 10 å Fasten the SHORT BRACES (Q) to the UPRIGHT LEG (G). Turn three BLACK 1/2" HEX HEAD SCREWS (21) with the L-WRENCH (13). Remember: Righty tighty. Step 11 å Fasten the SMALL BACK (CC) to the UPRIGHT (F). Tighten two HIDDEN CAMS. 1 2 Four HIDDEN CAMS should be here.
Step 12 å Fasten the RIGHT END LEG (J) to the SHORT BRACES (Q) and SMALL BACK (CC). Turn three BLACK 1/2" HEX HEAD SCREWS (21) with the L-WRENCH (13). Tighten two HIDDEN CAMS.
Step 13 å å Carefully stand your unit upright. Fasten the SHELF (DD) to the UPRIGHT (F), RIGHT END (H), and SMALL BACK (CC). Tighten six HIDDEN CAMS.
Step 14 å Fasten the LEGS (G and J) to the RIGHT TOP (D). Use four BLACK 1-9/16" PAN HEAD SCREWS (17). 17 BLACK 1-9/16"" PAN HEAD SCREW (4 used in this step) G J This hole must be here.
Step 15 å Fasten the RIGHT BACK (E) to the RIGHT TOP (D). Tighten three HIDDEN CAMS. å Fasten the RIGHT BACK (E) to the UPRIGHT LEG (G). Use two BLACK 2" PAN HEAD SCREWS (16).
Step 16 å Fasten the RIGHT BACK BRACE (M) to the RIGHT BACK (E). Use three BLACK 2" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (16). å å Position the RIGHT BACK BRACE exactly as shown. Next, fasten the RIGHT BACK BRACE (M) to the UPRIGHT LEG (G). Use a BLACK 1/2" PAN HEAD SCREW (22) through the tab and into the UPRIGHT LEG (G).
Step 17 å Fasten the CORNER LEG (EE) to the RIGHT BACK (E). Use two BLACK 2" PAN HEAD SCREWS (16). å Fasten the CORNER LEG (EE) to the RIGHT BACK BRACE (M). Turn a BLACK 1/2" HEX HEAD SCREW (21) with the L-WRENCH (13).
Step 18 å Fasten the RIGHT LOWER BRACE (N) to the UPRIGHT LEG (G) and CORNER LEG (EE). Use four BLACK 1/2" PAN HEAD SCREWS (22). å Fasten the RIGHT FRONT BRACE (P) to the UPRIGHT LEG (G). Use two BLACK 1/2" PAN HEAD SCREWS (22). å å NOTE: Position the RIGHT FRONT BRACE exactly as shown. Fasten the RIGHT FRONT BRACE (P) to the RIGHT TOP (D). Use three BLACK 1-9/16" PAN HEAD SCREWS (17).
Step 19 å Fasten the LEFT FRONT BRACE (O) to the LEFT LEG (A). Turn a BLACK 1/2" HEX HEAD SCREW (21) with the L-WRENCH (13). Don't worry. It isn't Rome. This can be built in a day. 21 BLACK 1/2" HEX HEAD SCREW (1 used in this step) A 13 O These edges must be even.
Step 20 å Fasten the LEFT LEG (A) and LEFT FRONT BRACE (O) to the LEFT TOP (C). Use five BLACK 1-9/16" PAN HEAD SCREWS (17).
Step 21 å Fasten LEFT BACK (B) to the LEFT TOP (C). Tighten three HIDDEN CAMS. å Fasten the LEFT BACK (B) to the LEFT LEG (A). Use two BLACK 2" PAN HEAD SCREWS (16).
Step 22 å Fasten the LEFT BACK BRACE (K) to the LEFT LEG (A). Turn a BLACK 1/2" HEX HEAD SCREW (21) with the L-WRENCH (13). å Fasten the LEFT BACK BRACE (K) to the LEFT BACK (B). Step 23 å Fasten the LEFT BACK (B) to the CORNER LEG (EE). Use two BLACK 2" PAN HEAD SCREWS (16). å Fasten the LEFT BACK BRACE (K) to the CORNER LEG (EE). Turn a BLACK 1/2" HEX HEAD SCREW (21) with the L-WRENCH (13). å Fasten the RIGHT FRONT BRACE (P) to the LEFT FRONT BRACE (O). Turn a BLACK 1-3/8" HEX HEAD SCREW (18) with the L-WRENCH (13). å Fasten the LEFT BACK (B) to the RIGHT FRONT BRACE (P). Turn a BLACK 1-3/8" HEX HEAD SCREW (18) with the L-WRENCH (13).
Step 24 å Fasten the LEFT LOWER BRACE (L) to the LEFT LEG (A) and CORNER LEG (EE). Use four BLACK 1/2" PAN HEAD SCREWS (22).
Step 25 YO UR UN IT O N TH E\ å Carefully turn your unit onto the RIGHT BACK (E) as shown in diagram #2. Then, stand your unit upright as shown in diagram #3. TU R N TO å You will need help in this step. Follow the direction of the arrows on how to stand your unit upright.
Step 26 1 2 19 BLACK 1" FLAT HEAD SCREW (4 used in this step) Y X Z BB Fi su nis rf he ac d e Y Z X Groove å Fasten the LARGE DRAWER SIDES (X and Z) to the LARGE DRAWER BACK (Y). Use four BLACK 1" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (19). å With the palm of your hand, push the DRAWER BOTTOM into the grooves. Slide the LARGE DRAWER BOTTOM (BB) into the grooves in the LARGE DRAWER SIDES (X and Z) and LARGE DRAWER BACK (Y). 3 1 2 Z X Be sure the DRAWER BOTTOM inserts into the DRAWER FRONT groove.
Step 27 å Fasten the EXTENSION SLIDES (4) to the LARGE DRAWER SIDES (X and Z). Use four BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (23). å å NOTE: Use the exact holes shown. å Push the RIGHT FILE GLIDE (14) onto the top edge of the LARGE RIGHT DRAWER SIDE (Z). å Push the LEFT FILE GLIDE (15) onto the top edge of the LARGE LEFT DRAWER SIDE (X). Fasten a KNOB SET (9) to the LARGE DRAWER FRONT (W). Use a BLACK 1" MACHINE SCREW (20).
Step 28 1 2 19 BLACK 1" FLAT HEAD SCREW (4 used in this step) With the palm of your hand, push the DRAWER BOTTOM into the grooves. Use four BLACK 1" PAN HEAD SCREWS (19). å 3 4 1 Slide the SMALL DRAWER BOTTOM (AA) into the grooves in the SMALL DRAWER SIDES (T and V) and SMALL DRAWER BACK (U).
Step 29 å å Fasten the SMALL DRAWER SIDES (T and V) to the DRAWER SLIDES (1 and 2). Use four BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (23) through the tabs of the DRAWER SLIDES (1 and 2). Almost time to celebrate! With a nap. Peel a BUMPER from the BUMPER CARD (8) and stick them on the back surface of the SMALL DRAWER FRONT (S).
Step 30 å å å Push two GROMMETS (11) into the holes in the BACKS (B and E). å å NOTE: Please read the back pages of the instruction booklet for important safety information. Push two GROMMETS WITH CAPS (12) into the holes in the TOPS (C and D). To insert the large drawer into your unit, line up the EXTENSION SLIDES on the large drawer with the EXTENSION RAILS on the unit and push the large drawer into the unit until it is fully inserted.
