INSTALLATION INSTALLATION Unpacking Care should betaken when unpacking the chimney hood to ensure the fixing Kit, ducting spigots and literature pack are retained with the hood. INSTALLATION INSTALLATION The correct figure can only be obtained by measuring the actual height of the splash back to be fitted. When installing the chimney hood without a splash back the minimum height using Fig. 2b s 850mm when installing the hood abase an electric hotplate and 900mm when installing the hood above a gas hob, Mark the center positions Y for the wall bracket keyhole fixing screws item 1 at 100mm either side of the vertical line.
INSTALLATION INSTALLATION Re circulation The hood is supplied specified for installation in the extraction mode. To convert the hood to re circulation it will be necessary o obtain the optional charcoal filters, Charcoal filters can be obtained bv using the order form enclosed.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Control Panel (Fig. 10) The chimney hood frictions are controlled by three side switches located to the right on the underside of the hood immediately in front of the metal grease filter as illustrated in Fig. 10. Ensure the hood is switched on at the supply connection unit. Worktop Lighting The switch {L) marked with the lamp symbol and numbered 0-1 as illustrated in Fig. 10 controls the worktop lighting.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING HELP US TO HELP YOU Metal Grease Filter (Fig. 11) The grass filler is fitted to absorb grease and dust during cooking to help keep the appliance clean inside. The metal filters should be cleaned at least once 2 month or more frequently if the hood is used for more than 3 hours a day. To remove the grease filters release the catches on the filters as illustrated in Fig. 11, and the filters can be removed.
Rating Plate The rating plate is situated inside the casing on the back panel. It gives the MODEL AND SERIAL NUMBER, which should be quoted in any communication or if the service department is contacted. it is advisable to make a note of these below and keep for reference before the appliance is installed.
