Safety instructions It is most important that this instruction book should be retained with the appliance for future reference. Should the appliance be sold or transferred to another owner, or should you move house and leave the appliance, always ensure that the book is left with the appliance in order that the new owner can get to know the functioning of the appliance and the relevant safety information. ● This information has been provided in the interest of your safety.

Prior to using for the first time Before using your dishwasher for the first time: Filling with salt 1. Ensure that the electrical and water connections comply with the installation instructions Special salt can be added in one of two ways: 2. Remove all packaging from inside the appliance ● If you are using dishwasher detergent that already contains salt, the detergent including the salt is placed in the detergent compartment.
Ensure that the lid is closed after every refill. Rinse aid Clean up any rinse aid spilt during filling with an absorbent cloth to avoid excess foaming during the next wash. Rinse aid is automatically added during the last rinse, ensuring thorough rinsing, and spot and streak free drying. The dispenser, which is positioned inside the door, holds about 110 ml of rinse aid, which is sufficient for 16 - 40 dishwashing programmes, depending upon the dosage setting.
For washing in the dishwasher the following cutlery/dishes are of limited suitability: are not suitable: - Cutlery with wooden, horn, china or mother-of-pearl handles - Only wash stoneware in the dishwasher if it is specifically marked as being dishwasher-safe by the manufacturer.
Adjusting the height of the upper basket If washing very large plates (over 27 cm and up to 31 cm in diameter) you can load them in the lower basket after moving the upper basket to the higher position. To move to the higher position proceed as follows: 1. Move the front runner stops (A) of the upper basket outwards and slide the basket out. 2. Refit the basket in the higher position and replace the stops (A) in their original position.
Use of "3 in 1" combi detergent tablets General advice These products are tablets with combined detergent/rinse-aid and salt functions. 1. Before using these products you should first check that the water hardness in your supply is compatible with the use of these products as per the detergent manufacturers (on the product packaging). 2. These products should be strictly used according to the detergent manufacturers instructions.

Starting a washing programme 1. Check that the baskets have been loaded correctly and that the spray arms can rotate freely 2. Turn on the water tap 3. Close the dishwasher door 4. Setting and starting the programme Turn the programme selector dial clockwise until the number of the programme you wish to select (see "Washing programmes" chart) corresponds with the programme marker on the control panel. Press the "MAINS ON" push button, the "MAINS ON" indicator light will come on and the programme will start.
Maintenance and cleaning Clean the external surfaces of the machine and control panel with a damp soft cloth. If necessary use only neutral detergents. Never use abrasive products, scouring pads or solvent (acetone, trichloroethylene etc....). To ensure a correct working of the dishwasher, NEVER try to remove the upper spray arm. If residues of soil have clogged the holes in the upper spray arm, remove them with a toothpick.
Something not working Certain problems are due to the lack of simple maintenance or oversights, which can be solved with the help of the instructions given here, without calling out an engineer. The dishwasher will not start or stops during operation, or all push buttons are inoperative except for the MAINS ON push button. Press the MAINS ON push button to switch the dishwasher off and carry out the following suggested corrective actions. Malfunction The machine does not fill with water.
If after all these checks, the problem persists, contact your local Service Force Centre, quoting the model (Mod.), product number (PNC) and serial number (S.N.). This information can be found on the rating plate located on the right hand side of the dishwasher door (see picture). Installation instructions Any electrical work required to install this appliance should be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person. Water supply connections This dishwasher must be plumbed into a cold water supply. The water pressure must be within the limits given in the technical specifications. Your local Water Authority will advise you on the average mains pressure in your area.
Water outlet hose connection Electrical connection The end of the drain hose can be connected in the following ways: 1. To the sink outlet spigot, securing it if necessary with a clip. This appliance must be earthed. The manufacturer declines any responsibility should this safety measure not be observed. 2. Hooked over the edge of the sink using the special curved plastic guide provided.
Hints for test centres Testing in accordance with EN 60704 must be carried out with appliance fully loaded and using the test programme (see "Washing programmes" chart). Test in accordance with EN 50242 must be carried out when the salt dispenser and rinse aid container have been filled with salt and rinse aid respectively and using the test programme (see "Washing programmes" chart).
