CARE AND CLEANING CLEANING THE SEALED HOTPLATES AND HOTPLATE TRIMS ALWAYS SWITCH OFF THE ELECTRICITY SUPPLY AT THE MAIN WALL SWITCH AND ALLOW THE APPLIANCE TO COOL BEFORE CLEANING. In order to maintain the appearance of your appliance's sealed hotplates and trims, you are advised to use the recommended cleaning agents daily. If you do not allow spillages to burn on they will be much easier to clean off.
AFTER CLEANING · It is not necessary to add water to a meat tin when roasting. The water and the fat juices from the joint create excessive splattering during cooking - even at normal temperatures as well as causing condensation. · Covering joints during cooking will also prevent splashing onto the interior surfaces. Removing the covering for the last 20-30 minutes will allow extra browning if required.
