Setting the Target Downstream Rate
To manually enter the target downstream rate
for the throughput test, highlight the Target
Down Rate eld as shown in the image to
the right and then use either of the following
methods to change the target downstream rate:
• Use the up/down arrow buttons to adjust
the rate in 1 Mbps increments.
• Press the Enter button and use the
Virtual Keyboard to directly enter the
target downstream rate as shown in the
image to the right.
Throughput Mode
When the Throughput mode is selected, the
following measurement results are displayed as
shown in the image to the right:
• Target Up Rate – This is the up stream
data rate. This measurement is displayed in
the bar graph and as a numeric value. This
value is xed.
• Target Down Rate – This is the down
stream data rate. This measurement is
displayed in the bar graph and as a numeric
value.
