Cable Diagnostics
Chapter 6
Overview
The Cable Dignostics Test Suite of the 802 AWE is
used to perform cable diagnostics tests on Ethernet
cables connected to the 802 AWE. Select the Cable
Diag icon as shown in the image to the right to
perform cable diagnostics testing.
The Cable Diagnostics screen will be displayed
as shown in the image to the right. The following
measurements can be performed from this screen:
• Time Domain Reectometry (TDR)
• Active Link Cable Diagnostic (ALCD)
