Using Bluetooth-Enabled
MobileMapper Beacon
MobileMapper Beacon is a MobileMapper CE accessory
providing real-time DGPS correction data from any beacon
networks that exist worldwide.
Using MobileMapper CE’s DGPS Configuration and Blue-
tooth Manager, tuning the beacon receiver and monitoring
its performance through wireless communication is a simple
process.
Establishing Communication Between the Two
Units
• Power on MobileMapper Beacon and make sure your
MobileMapper CE device is within range. (The distance
between both units should be less than 10 meters.)
• On MobileMapper CE, open Bluetooth Manager, tap
ON
and wait for it to detect the MobileMapper Beacon
device.
(This step is not necessary when the MobileMap-
per Beacon is connected to MobileMapper CE via serial
cable.)
• Click the plus sign box next to the beacon device name.
Select “Bluetooth Serial Port”, hold the stylus to bring up
the context menu and select
Configure.
