Using the phone
n Using the Phone:Voice calls and SMS
n Customizing the phone
n Working with WWAN (mobile data service)
n Manually connecting to a cellular network
from the modem
Not all Juno T41 handheld models feature a GSM
phone and WWAN feature. Some Juno T41
handheld models with WWAN support CDMA.
Do not place a SIM card in models that do not
support these features.
Before using the phone feature, purchase a GSM or
CDMAcellular voice or data plan from a GSM or
CDMA cellular service provider.
You can use the phone to make phone calls, set up
speed dials, keep track of calls, and send SMS
messages just like the standard features of a mobile
phone. Also, there are several dialing features
unique to your device. For example, you can take
notes while talking, dial directly from Contacts and
easily transfer contacts between your SIM card and
the storage of your handheld.
