3 Using the operating system
The pull-down list
You can access the pull-down list from the Home screen or the Start screen.
❶ Pull down list:tap anywhere on the title bar to
open the title bar pull-down list, where you can
access connectivity controls (the Wireless
Manager), battery information, time and date
settings, and volume.
❷ Connectivity icons:tap either icon to access the
Wireless Manager.
Personalizing the Home screen
1.
Tap /Settings/Home / Appearance.
2. From the list, select the theme you want to use.
3. To set a picture as the Home screen background:
a. Select Use this picture as the background.
b. Tap Browse to select the picture you want to use.
4. Tap OK.
Setting regional options
The handheld comes with the regional settings that are appropriate for your locale. To change
regional settings:
1.
Tap /Settings/System / Regional Settings.
2. On the Regional Settings screen, select the Region tab and then select your preferred language
from the list.
3. If required, you can specify the locale, date and time style, and number and currency
formatting options applicable to your region.
4. Tap OK.
