8 Using the barcode imager
Configuring the barcode imager
Tap / Settings/Setup Scanner. The Scanner Setup dialogue displays. From here you can:
l Test the functionality of the integrated barcode imager. Tap Scan Now.
l Edit enabled symbologies and settings. Tap Symbologies. You can:
ll Enable/disable specific symbologies.
l Tap on a symbology name to edit its parameters.
l Enable/disable the scan beep. Tap Scan Beep. Tap the checkbox to enable/disable.
l Edit Config
Reading barcodes
Tap the ScanAgent icon to scan a barcode. Or, press the button you assigned to scanning barcodes.
