Fn + “.”.
OFF (Default): Num locked. The number pad
performs the number functions.
Battery Charging LED
Shift Key LED On
indicates that the Shift key is “sticky” down.
Fn Key LED On
indicates that the Fn key is “sticky” down.
Ctrl Key LED On
indicates that the Ctrl key is “sticky” down.
Search Key LED On
indicates that the Search key is “sticky” down.
AGr Key LED On
indicates that the AGr key is “sticky” down.
NOTE – As on a standard PC keyboard, the Shift key can be used to temporarily invert the Caps and Num
lock states.
Configuring built-in keypad settings
To edit the Ranger 5 / TSC5 controller keypad behaviors navigate to: Settings > System >
Languages & input > Physical keyboard > Built-in Keyboard.
Use the Built-in Keypad utility to change the behavior of some of the built-in keypad features.
Tap , scroll down and expand Windows System, then tap Control Panel.
NOTE – In Tablet mode, tap then tap the All Applications icon to show the list of
applications.
In Category view, select Hardware and Sound, or Ease of Access.
Tap Built-in Keyboard or one of the subcategories in blue to open the settings applet to a
specific page.
The Built-in Keyboard utility has four options:
Sticky Keys, page 43
Backlight, page 44
Status Icons, page 44
SYM Key, page 44
It also has an About page which shows the Built-in keypad utility version, the version of the keypad's
firmware, and the identifier for the type of built-in keypad installed.
To use the utility:
Select the option you want to configure settings for by tapping it. Details for the options are
covered below.
