12.5Other System Components
This section describes optional components that you can use with the
5800 receiver.
12.5.1 Radios
Radios are the most common data link for Real-Time Kinematic
(RTK) surveying. The 5800 receiver is available with an optional
internal radio in either the UHF or 900 MHz band. You can also
connect an external radio to either port, whether the internal radio is
installed or not.
The 5800 receiver supports the following Trimble base radios with the
internal UHF or 900 MHz radios:
• TRIMMARK™ 3
• TRIMMARK IIe
• TRIMTALK™ 450S
• SiteNet 450
• SiteNnet 900
