Sirio /Ex Tech (2) .21 Race Prepped engine.(TRI40064)
This engine has been run with a total of 500cc Trinity Break-In Fuel. Engine is set to run on
Trinity Platinum 30% with Ex Tech plugs Turbo #5, & 2013, 2057, & 2056 pipes. Engine will
be ready for race tune in another 20 minutes of running. During the next 20 minutes of running
drive ¼ - ½ throttle, only blipping the throttle to full throttle for a couple of seconds. Going full
throttle for an extended period of time before the Engine is completely broken in can damage
the internals parts of the Engine. Once the Engine is broken in, always tune from the low speed
needle first. If your engine does not have enough power, do not continue to lean the HSD. This
will only cause excessive heat from the engine and shorten its life. Operating temps will vary
from 170-190 degree’s farehinheit. Carburetor idle gap is pre-set and will not need to be
adjusted out of the box.
Setting the idle gap:
Remove the air filter and back the idle screw out while watching the slide close. When you see the slide close
stop turning the screw. Take note to where the screw is. Now from this point turn the screw in 1 full turn. This
will equal .024” or .6mm, from this setting the idle is almost dead on.
