Important Safety Instructions SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS This manual contains instructions and warnings that should be followed during the installation, operation and storage of this product. Failure to heed these warnings may affect the warranty. UPS Location Warnings • Install your UPS indoors, away from excess moisture or heat, conductive contaminants, dust or direct sunlight. • For best performance, keep the indoor temperature between 32º F and 104º F (0º C and 40º C).
Quick Installation STEP 1: Plug the UPS into a properly grounded outlet. Connect the included C14 power cord* to the UPS then plug the UPS into a properly grounded C13 power source.** The UPS will be in standby mode after plugging it into the wall outlet. Before pressing the POWER BUTTON, the input voltage range for the UPS can be selected by pressing and holding the MUTE/ SELECT button until it beeps.
Basic Operation UPS ON/OFF • Plug the UPS into a live, grounded outlet. The LCD display will illuminate, the battery charger will engage as necessary and the SURGE PROTECTED outlets will begin passing power. Before turning the UPS on, the input voltage range of the UPS can be selected after plugging it into a live grounded outlet.
Basic Operation continued LCD Display The LCD Display indicates a variety of UPS modes and operating conditions. To view the various screens, press the button while the UPS is operating in line or battery power mode. The LCD DISPLAY is shown here fully illuminated to identify all available icons and labels. This is for explanation only—there are no operating modes where the screen is fully illuminated like this except for a few seconds as the UPS is first plugged in.

Basic Operation continued Self-Test Press and hold the button to initiate the test. The test will last approximately 10 seconds as the UPS switches to battery to test the capacity with a load. Upon completion of the test, UPS will return to line mode. If test fails, the display will indicate icon and an alarm will sound. If this occurs, charge the batteries for 12 hours and repeat the self-test. If there is another failure, contact Tripp Lite for battery replacement options.

Battery Replacement Under normal conditions, the original battery in your UPS will last several years. Battery replacement should only be performed by qualified personnel. Refer to “Battery Warnings” in the Safety section for complete battery safety information. Your UPS requires two Tripp Lite RBC51 replacement battery cartridges. Storage and Service Storage To avoid battery drain, all connected equipment should be turned off and disconnected from the UPS. Press and hold the POWER BUTTON for one second and disconnect the unit from AC power. Your UPS will be completely turned off (deactivated), and will be ready for storage. If you plan on storing your UPS for an extended period, fully recharge the UPS batteries every three months.

Важные указания по технике безопасности СОХРАНИТЕ НАСТОЯЩЕЕ РУКОВОДСТВО В настоящем руководстве содержатся указания и предупреждения, которые необходимо соблюдать в процессе установки, эксплуатации и хранения данного изделия. Предупреждения относительно места размещения ИБП • ИБП должен быть установлен в закрытом помещении, вдали от источников повышенной влажности или тепла, электропроводных загрязнителей, пыли и прямого солнечного света.
Порядок быстрой установки ШАГ 1. Включите вилку ИБП в надлежащим образом заземленную розетку. Подсоедините поставляемый в комплекте шнур питания* с разъемом типа C14 к ИБП, а затем включите вилку ИБП в надлежащим образом заземленный источник питания** с разъемом типа C13. После включения в сетевую розетку ИБП будет находиться в режиме ожидания.

После этого загорается ЖК-дисплей, в случае необходимости начинает работать устройство заряда батарей, а розетки с маркировкой SURGE PROTECTED (СЕТЕВАЯ ФИЛЬТРАЦИЯ) начинают пропускать через себя электропитание. После включения сетевой вилки ИБП в находящуюся под напряжением заземленную розетку и перед включением ИБП возможна установка диапазона входных напряжений ИБП.
Основной режим работы продолжение ЖК-дисплей На ЖК-дисплее отображаются различные режимы работы ИБП и рабочие состояния. Для просмотра различных экранов нажмите кнопку при работе ИБП в режиме питания от сети или батареи. На данном рисунке ЖК-дисплей изображен с полной подсветкой элементов индикации для показа всех имеющихся пиктограмм и сообщений.

Продолжительность тестирования составляет примерно 10 секунд, на время которых ИБП переключается в режим питания от батареи с целью проверки ее емкости под нагрузкой. После завершения теста ИБП возвращается в режим питания от сети. В случае неудачного прохождения теста на дисплее появляется пиктограмма с одновременной подачей предупредительного звукового сигнала.
Свойства Возможности ИБП 5 4 2 3 7 6 1 8 1. Кнопка ВКЛ/ВЫКЛ: для включения и выключения ИБП нажмите КНОПКУ POWER и удерживайте ее в течение одной секунды. При отсутствии энергоснабжения нажатие этой кнопки приводит к “холодному запуску” ИБП, т.е. его включению с подачей на розетки электропитания от батарей. 2. Замена батареи В нормальных условиях оригинальная батарея вашего ИБП прослужит несколько лет. Замена батареи должна производиться только квалифицированными специалистами. Полную информацию, связанную с обеспечением безопасности батарей, см. в пункте “Предупреждения относительно батарей” раздела «Обеспечение безопасности». Для работы вашего ИБП требуются два сменных батарейных картриджа модели Tripp Lite RBC51.
Хранение и техническое обслуживание Хранение Во избежание саморазряда батарей все подключенное оборудование должно быть выключено и отсоединено от ИБП. Для отключения устройства от источника питания переменного тока нажмите КНОПКУ POWER и удерживайте ее в течение одной секунды. После этого ваш ИБП будет полностью выключен (обесточен) и готов к хранению. Если вы планируете хранение своего ИБП в течение длительного периода времени, производите полную подзарядку батарей ИБП каждые три месяца.
Нормативно-правовое соответствие Идентификационные номера соответствия нормативным требованиям В целях сертификации на соответствие нормативным требованиям и опознавания приобретенному вами изделию марки Tripp Lite присвоен уникальный серийный номер. Серийный номер располагается на заводской табличке вместе со всеми необходимыми отметками о приемке и прочей информацией. При запросе информации о соответствии данного изделия нормативным требованиям обязательно указывайте его серийный номер.
