Product Features • Kit includes cable tester, crimping tool, LSA punchdown tool, and stripper tool along with a carrying case • RJ45, RJ11 and RJ12 cable tester combines a Main Tester unit with a removable Remote Tester unit • Tests cable connectivity, determining a connection, no connection, short or open circuit, with LED lights indicating the type of connection • Features modes for fast and slow flashing of LEDs during automatic testing Operation Note: Before testing, insert a 9V battery (not included)

Operation No Connection: If there is no connection found between the connectors of the cable being tested, the LEDs on the units will not illuminate. Mis-Wire: If the wires in the cable are out of order, the LEDs on the Remote Tester will illuminate to show what order they are wired in. Open Circuit: If the same LEDs on both the Main and Remote units remain off, the corresponding wire is an open circuit. Short Circuit: If one or two wires are short circuited, the remote LEDs will not light up.
