Clips to Your Device’s USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 Port to Create a Multiport Workstation
This USB-C dock with PD Charging expands the potential of your to your iPad Pro, tablet or smartphone's
USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port. It’s ideal for transmitting 4K video and digital audio to a large display, adding
a thumb drive or other USB peripheral, and powering and charging a PD Charging-compliant mobile
device—all at the same time. The built-in USB-C plug clips securely to your USB-C or Thunderbolt 3
device to prevent it from becoming accidentally disconnected.
Supports USB-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode for Converting Audio/Video Signals
By connecting the built-in USB-C plug to a source device that supports USB DisplayPort Alt Mode, you
can output 4K video and digital audio to an HDMI monitor, television or projector without installing special
software drivers.
Transmits Crystal-Clear 4K Video and Digital Audio
The U442-DOCK15-S supports Ultra HD video resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 (4K x 2K) at 30 Hz with
multi-channel sound. Connect the HDMI port to your display using an HDMI cable (such as Tripp Lite’s
P569-Series, sold separately).
PD Charging Port Charges the Connected USB-C Device
The USB-C 60W Power Delivery (PD) 3.0 port provides power and charging to the connected PD
Charging-compliant device (such as an iPad Pro or Android smartphone). Connect the device’s AC wall
charger to the USB-C PD port, which supports power input up to 20V 3A (60W). That’s sufficient wattage
to fast-charge, sync and power most high-capacity devices, including an iPad.
Connects a Keyboard, Thumb Drive and Other Peripherals
The USB-A hub port accepts a USB peripheral, such as a flash drive, mouse, keyboard or printer. It
supports USB 2.0 transfer rates up to 480 Mbps and is backward compatible with earlier USB
generations. A 3.5 mm audio jack allows connection of a microphone, stereo earbuds or speakers to your
USB-C device with a user-supplied cable.
Allows External Memory Access
The memory card slots support Micro SD and SD/MMC cards for transferring data to and from your
connected computer, laptop or tablet. Both slots may be used at the same time.
