FUNCTION: INJECT MASTER KEYS
FACTORY DEFAULT: N/A
ACCESS INSTRUCTIONS:
1.) Select TERMINAL CONFIGURATION from the
MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONS menu.
2.) Select SET TERMINAL PARAMETERS.
3.) Select KEY MANAGEMENT.
4.) Choose the INJECT MASTER KEYS option.
DESCRIPTION:
The INJECT MASTER KEYS function is used in conjunction with a PC (Personnel Computer)
and a special floppy disk to inject the master and working keys (as applicable) from the PC into a
designated terminal. Selecting INJECT MASTER KEYS will cause the terminal to prepare for the
load of the master key from the PC, using a serial data cable.
ERROR CONDITIONS:
Do not connect the load port on the Cash Dispenser to the parallel (printer) port of the PC!
