New or Uncirculated Notes
Remove the band around each bundle of
notes. Separate the notes from each other by:
• Striking the bundle hard against the
edge of a table or similar object.
• Flipping through each bundle of notes
in both directions at each end.
• Using a Note Counter.
REMOVING NOTE CASSETTES
1. UNLOCK the cassettes, using the Cassette Lock/Unlock procedure in Section 5, Management
Functions.
2. Open the combination lock on the security container door and open the door to gain access to
the dispensing mechanism. NOTE: On front-access units, you will open the outer fascia panel
to gain access to the security container door, using the key lock on the front of the panel.
