Personnel qualifications Safety Carefully read this manual before starting / using the device and keep it within reach! • Do not use the device in potentially explosive rooms. Do not use the device in aggressive atmosphere. • The device is designed for indoor installation. • The device must have an upward safety distance of 90 cm to all combustible materials. • Keep away from children and animals. • Set the device in an upright and stable position. • Do not expose the device to dripping water.
Device depiction Information about the device 1 Description of the device The device operates on the desiccant principle, without compressor or cooling agent. The fully automatic control and the condensation tank (6) with integrated overflow protection ensure fault-free operation. The fan sucks in damp room air via the air inlet (4) with air filter (7), the condenser and the desiccant wheel located behind it.

Transport and storage Start-up To make the device easier to transport, it is fitted with a carry handle. Before transporting the device, proceed as follows: Positioning When positioning the device, observe the minimum distance from walls or other objects as described in chapter Technical Data. 1. Switch the device off by means of the POWER button (see chapter Operating elements). 2.
Inserting the air filter Operating elements Before switching the device on, insert the air filter. 38 39 40 41 42 43 44 45 40% 50% 60% 70% 49 48 47 46 Eco mode indicator light: Is illuminated when economical operation is activated. Normal operation mode indicator light: Is illuminated when normal operation is activated. Drying mode indicator light: Is illuminated when drying operation is activated. Display: Indicates the ambient air's relative humidity (35 % to 95 % RH).
Eco mode Emptying the condensation tank The device operates at low fan speed to save energy. The heating switches off when the relative humidity in the ambient air falls below the set nominal value. If the humidity increases to above the set value, the heating will switch on again. Start eco mode as follows: • Press the MODE button (49) until the eco mode indicator light (38) is lit. The condensation tank needs to be drained when the condensation tank indicator light (45) lights up.
Operation with hose attached to the condensation plug C. At a high humidity level it is recommendable to constantly drain the condensate via a hose, for otherwise the condensation tank has to be emptied too frequently. To do so, proceed as follows: 1. Remove the condensation tank as indicated in fig. A. 2. Remove the protective cap at the condensation connection, e.g. by means of a slotted screwdriver, as illustrated in fig. B. 3. Remove the plug from the condensation connection (fig. C). 4.
Shutdown 1. Press the POWER button (46). – The operation indicator light (44) flashes during rundown operation (approx. 2 minutes), then goes out. 2. Wait until the end of the rundown period (approx. 2 minutes). – Due to the follow-up time of the internal components, the device only switches off completely after approx. 2 minutes. 3. Do not touch the mains plug with wet or damp hands. 4. Do not pull the mains plug from the mains socket before the rundown operation is completed. 5.

Activities required before starting maintenance Cleaning the housing and condensation tank 1. 2. 3. 4. 1. Use a soft, lint-free cloth for cleaning. 2. Dampen the cloth with clean water. Do not use sprays, solvents, harsh or abrasive cleaners to dampen the cloth. Do not touch the mains plug with wet or damp hands. Before any work, detach the mains plug! Do not remove the float from the condensation tank. Wait for at least 1 hour until the device has cooled down before performing any activities.
Cleaning the air inlets and the air filter C. Caution! Ensure that the air filter is not worn or damaged. The corners and edges of the air filter must not be rounded or misshaped. Before reinserting the air filter, ensure that it is dry and is not damaged! Read the chapter Maintenance intervals and replace the air filter in due time! A. B.
