Never use the device if electric cables or the power connection are damaged! The electrical connection must correspond to the specifications in chapter Technical data. Insert the mains plug into a properly secured mains socket. Observe the technical data when selecting extensions to the power cable. Completely unroll the extension cable. Avoid electrical overload.
Information about the device Device description The pedestal fans of the TVE S series are suitable for indoor air circulation. The device TVE 26 S comes with the following features: • 26 speed levels • Adjustable timer function up to 12 hours • Inclination angle of the fan head vertically adjustable by up to 20° • On-demand 85° oscillation 6 Device depiction 1 2 No.
Assembly Transport and storage Note If you store or transport the device improperly, the device may be damaged. Note the information regarding transport and storage of the device. Mounting the foot Connect the foot (3) and the pillar (5). Make sure that the two projecting parts (8) of the pillar engage in the recess on the contact surface of the foot (9). 8 Transport Before transporting the device, proceed as follows: • Switch off the device.
Connecting the control panel and pillar 1. Connect the control panel (2) and the pillar (5). Make sure that the control panel locks in place in the pillar's guide rail (11). 2. Adjusting the height Turn the height adjustment screw to be able to set the appropriate total height. 120 cm – 137 cm 18 19 Setting the fan's inclination angle The inclination angle of the fan can be manually adjusted by up to 20°. 1. Move the fan head forward or back so that it is slightly inclined either to the front or to the rear.
Warning Risk of injury if protective grid is removed! There is a risk of injury if the protective grid is removed during operation. Do not remove the protective grid while the device is in operation! Operation Operating elements 27 Before restarting the device, check the condition of the power cable. If there are doubts as to the sound condition, contact the customer service. • Set the device up in an upright and stable position.
Switching the device on Once you have completely installed the device as described in the Start-up chapter, you can switch it on. 1. Press the ON/OFF button (25). ð An acoustic signal is emitted and the device starts up in normal operation mode at fan stage 1. Setting the operating mode The device has the following operating modes: • normal operation • natural wind • night mode • comfort mode • whisper mode Normal operation In normal operation mode the fan keeps running at the desired fan stage.
Setting the timer The timer has two modes of operation: • automatic switch-off upon expiry of a preset number of hours • automatic switch-on upon expiry of a preset number of hours The number of hours of the timer can range from 0.5 to 12. The timer can be set in increments of 0.5 hours (0.5 h to 10 h) or in increments of 1 hour (10 h to 12 h). The function can be set in all operating modes. Remote control All settings of the device can also be made using the remote control included in the scope of delivery. 29 25 26 24 23 28 Errors and faults The device has been checked for proper functioning several times during production. If malfunctions occur nonetheless, check the device according to the following list. The device does not start: • Check the power connection. • Check the power cable and mains plug for damages. • Check the on-site fusing.

Hold onto the mains plug while pulling the power cable out of the mains socket. Cleaning the housing Clean the housing with a soft, damp and lint-free cloth. Ensure that no moisture enters the housing. Protect electrical components from moisture.
