PREPARING THE fJNmT
FOP, STORAGE
VVater shouHd not remain in the unit for Hongperiods of
time. Sediments or mineraHs can deposit on pump parts and
"freeze" pump action. If you do not pHanto use the pressure
washer for more than 30 days_follow this procedure:
H. Rush chemicaH injection hose by pHadng fiker into a paiH
of dean water whiHe running pressure washer in How
pressure mode. Rush for one to two minutes.
2. Shut off engine and Het it cool then remove high
pressure and garden hoses. Disconnect spark pHugwire
from spark pHug.
3. Empty pump of aHHpumped Hiquidsby puHHingrecoiH
handHeabout 6 times.This shouHd remove most Hiquid
in pump.
4. Use PumpSaver to prevent corrosion buiHd up and
freezing of pump.
5. Store unit in a cHean_dry area.
Protectin the Pum
To protect the pump from damage caused by mineral
deposits or freezing, use PumpSaver, HodeH 6039, to treat
pump.This prevents freeze damage and Hubricates pistons
and seats.
NOTE: PumpSaver is available as an optionaH accessory. [t
is not incHuded with the pressure washer. Contact the
nearest authorized service center to purchase PumpSaver.
Failure to do so will permanently damage your pump and
render your unit inoperable,
Freeze damage is not covered under warranty.
CAUTION
Always wear eye protection when using PumpSaver_
. Protect surfaces from dripping PumpSaven
To use PumpSaven make sure the pressure washer is
turned off and disconnected from suppHy water. Read and
follow aHHinstructions and warnings given on the PumpSaver
container.
NOTE: [f PumpSaver [s not ava[HabHe,draw RV antifreeze
(non°aHcohoH) into the pump by pouring the soHution into a
3°foot section of garden hose connected to inHet adapter
and puHHingrecoiH handHe twice.
