Basic functions of the IR remote control
Direct the LED on the front of the IR remote control to the IR receiver of the control unit and
press the corresponding button.

Switching on/off the LED strip (the last available light color is activated
after switching the unit on or the last running light program is continued)

stop/continue light program

Increase brightness (not possible with all light programs)

reduce brightness (not possible with all light programs)
Hold down the respective “ ” or “ ” button for longer to quickly adjust the
brightness.
“W” button Selecting light color “White”
“R” button Selecting light color “Red”
“G” button Selecting light color “Green”
“B” button Selecting light color “Blue”
16 Color buttons Selecting 12 predened light colors or 4 white brightness levels.
“QUICK” button Increase the speed of a light program
“SLOW” button Reduce the speed of a light program
Keep the respective “QUICK” or “SLOW” button pressed for longer to quickly adjust
the speed of the light program.
“AUTO” button All light programs change automatically after each other
“FLASH” button Light program for ashing mode with the light color “White”
“FADE7” button Light program for smooth transition with 7 light colors (brightness not
changeable)
“FADE3” button Light program for smooth transition with 3 light colors (brightness not
changeable)
“Jump7” button Light program for changing 7 light colors
“JUMP3” button Light program for changing 3 light colors
Set/call up individual light colors
a) Set /save light color
It is possible to set and save up to 6 individual light colors. Proceed as follows to do so:
Briey press one of the “DIY1” ..... “DIY6” buttons.
The LEDs correspondingly light up if a light color is saved. If no light color is saved all LEDs
are out.
Select any light color with the 6 color arrows which are located above the “DIY” buttons.
The brightness of the respective LED color is increased with ”, reduced with “ ” (red
arrow = red light component, green arrow = green light component, blue arrow = blue light
component).
Each change is automatically saved.
The light colors saved by you are also maintained if the control unit is separated
from the power supply.
b) Call up saved light color
Briey press one of the “DIY1” ..... “DIY6” buttons.
The LEDs correspondingly light up if a light color is already stored. All LEDs are off if no light
color is stored.
Care and cleaning
Apart from the occasional battery change the IR remote control is maintenance free.
Disconnect the product from the power supply before cleaning.
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as
they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
Clean the exterior of the product using a clean, soft, dry cloth only.
Do not immerse the product in water.
Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to
the relevant statutory regulations.
Remove any inserted (rechargeable) batteries and dispose of them separately from
the product.
b) (Rechargeable) batteries
As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used
(rechargeable) batteries; disposal of them in the household waste is prohibited!
Contaminated (rechargeable) batteries are labelled with this symbol to indicate that
disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals
involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on (rechargeable)
batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to collection points in your municipality, our
stores or wherever (rechargeable) batteries are sold.
You thus full your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
