The proximity switch must in all cases be connected for safe

operation of the focusing optics and indicates whether a cas-

sette is present or not.

Note

Whether protective glass is placed in the cassette is not moni-

tored!

The proximity switch can be connected to a PLC or a monitor-

ing device by means of a 3-pole connector (M8 x 1).
