Features and Benefits
The 1097 Bluetooth
®
UHF RFID and 2D Barcode
Wearable Hand Scanner is capable of reading
and writing to EPC Class 1 Generation 2 (ISO
18000-6C) transponders and (optionally) 1D/2D
barcodes. The scanner is battery operated and
communicates with a host computer wirelessly
via a standard Bluetooth
®
wireless technology
interface (optional Wi-Fi interface build option
available).
The hand scanner is compatible with devices
running Android, Windows XP/Vista/7/8,
Windows CE, or Windows Mobile 5/6/6.5 (the
host device must have Bluetooth
®
wireless
technology functionality). The Bluetooth
®
interface enables the operator to use the
scanner up to 100m from the host computer.
Built for tough environments
The lightweight construction and ergonomic
design of the 1097 Bluetooth
®
UHF RFID and
2D Barcode Wearable Hand Scanner allows
dexterity to be maintained in challenging
environments, whilst the rugged design of the
scanner means that it can withstand multiple
drops of up to 1.3m (4.26ft) to concrete.
The (removable) Li-Polymer rechargeable
battery pack provides long run times. The
hand scanner has LED, buzzer and vibrator
read indicators.
A software development kit (SDK) is available
for development of customer applications.
