Product Specification
1119 UHF RFID reader for the Motorola MC55/65
1119 UHF RFID Reader for
the Motorola MC55/65
Features and Benefits
The 1119 UHF RFID Reader provides a UHF RFID
upgrade path for Motorola MC55 and MC65
terminals. It snaps on to the bottom of the host
terminal and uses the serial port for all data
communications.
The reader supports EPC Class 1 Generation 2
(ISO 18000-6C) transponders, and has been
designed for operation in European (ETSI EN
302 208) and US (FCC Part 15) regulatory
environments, including Dense Reader Mode
Capability.
A rechargeable battery is included in the reader
to avoid reducing the run time of the host
terminal. The battery is normally charged in the
reader, but can be swapped out in applications
requiring continuous operation.
Tough enough
The 1119 UHF RFID Reader’s rugged design
matches the capabilities of its host terminals.
It has IP54 sealing and can withstand multiple
drops of up to 1.2m (4ft) to concrete with the
host terminal attached.
An extensive software development kit (SDK)
is available for development of customer
applications. SmartWedge software for
Windows Mobile devices enables easy
integration with form based applications
supporting most of the commonly used
Control characters.
