OSDP Reader Connection
Connecting TSL readers in OSDP mode is the same as the connection for standard RS-485 configuration.

Readers must also be programmed to operate in OSDP mode. For information on programming readers, see the
ICT Card Reader Configuration Guide, available from the ICT website.
Connecting OSDPreaders to Protege modules requires additional hardware configuration and system
programming. For more information, see Application Note 254: Configuring OSDP Readers in Protege.

OSDP Reader Location
As two OSDP readers can be connected to the same Protege module reader port, each OSDPreader is configured
as either an Entry or Exit reader in the Reader location setting of the associated smart reader record.
OSDPreader location is not determined by the reader address.
