CHEETAH SCS Shifter Cable Replacement
Installation Instructions
FIRST, READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY, THEN PROCEED TO INSTALL CABLE PER
THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
Kit Includes: 1 - Cable
1 - Set of instructions
STEP #1: Preferably, remove the shifter from vehicle.
STEP #2: Remove cable clamp screw on one side and loosen the other screw far enough to
remove cable from under the clamp, Fig. #1. Note: The shifter mounting bracket
and clamp must be placed back into the same set of holes in the shifter rail.
STEP #3: Holding the Terminal Block, break the jam nut loose on the cable, Fig. #1&2. Turn
the cable counterclockwise and remove from the Terminal Block.
STEP #4: Reinstall cable per Fig. #1&2, and be sure clamp goes into the groove in the
cable. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN screws. If cable is stretched out straight and a
second person turns the the cable clockwise while you guide into Terminal Block,
things will go easier. Now adjust as shown.

Remove cable clamp screw and loosen the other screw.
Slide cable out from under clamp.
Holding Terminal Block,
break jam nut loose on the cable.
