FEATURES
This specially designed instrument for turfgrass areas has many patented
features. It can stand upright when inserted into the turf for accurate readings.
The foot plate and depth adjustment tube is a quick, one hand adjusting
assembly. The height of the Turf-Tec Digital Thermometer read out scale s three
feet above the turf for easy reading. All of these features combine to make this
instrument accurate and easy to use. Other features include:
• Dual temperature range: -50° to 571°F & -20° to 300°C
• One tenth of one degree resolution.
• Easy to read 3 1/2 digit LCD display
• Solid state circuitry
• Memory function: Maximum or minimum temperature measurements

Using the Turf-Tec Digital Thermometer
When taking soil temperatures correlate them with air temperatures.
NOTE: Public weather temperatures no radio, TV and newspapers are all based
on the prevailing temperature FEET ABOVE THE GROUND, and it is usually
taken at local airports.
These temperature readings have little significance turfgrass area such as golf
greens or sports fields.
