ResponseCard Programmer ABOUT RESPONSECARD PROGRAMMER The ResponseCard Programmer allows users to quickly and easily program ResponseCards to a new Unit ID. The ResponseCard Programmer supports three types of ResponseCards: l ResponseCard RF - RRRF-02 and RRRF-03 l ResponseCard XR-01 - 1.2 firmware or higher l ResponseCard NXT - 0.7.5 firmware or higher IMPORTANT The ResponseCard Programmer is NOT compatible with Response Card XR-02.
ResponseCard Programmer Changing the ResponseCard Programmer Channel The ResponseCard Programmer channel must be set to the same channel as the ResponseCards. 1 Press Menu/OK to return to the Main Screen. 2 Use the down arrow to highlight Channel. 3 Press Menu/OK. 4 Use the up and down arrows to change the channel. 5 Press Menu/OK to set the channel. NOTE It is not necessary to plug in a receiver to program ResponseCards.
ResponseCard Programmer PROGRAMMING MODES The ResponseCard Programmer has three programming modes: Auto Increment Mode User Defined Mode Factory Default Mode Auto Increment Mode Auto Increment Mode allows users to set a starting Unit ID. In this mode, the Unit ID increases by one after each ResponseCard is programmed. This mode simplifies sequential programming. 1 Press Menu/OK to return to the Main Screen. 2 Use the down arrow to highlight Mode. 3 Press Menu/OK.
ResponseCard Programmer 7 7 Press the designated Program Key on the ResponseCard. For example, if the Program Key is 9/I, press 9/I on the ResponseCard. A notification will briefly flash on both the ResponseCard Programmer and the XR or NXT ResponseCard indicating that the card has been successfully programmed. A green light will flash on the ResponseCard RF indicating that the card has been successfully programmed. The Unit ID will automatically increase for the next device.
ResponseCard Programmer 8 6 Use the up and down arrows to change the Unit ID. Press Menu/OK. The following screen appears: 7 Press the designated Program Key on the ResponseCard.
