Installation Instructions
Fully inspect product for damage or
defect prior to installation. Warranty DOES NOT cover costs
for installation or removal of product.
Step 1
Vanity Prep: Ensure that the vanity on which the top is to be
placed is level and properly secured to the wall. Your marble
vanity top is heavy natural stone, which requires solid support. If
the vanity is of a “frameless” design, it is recommended that
additional support be added. Additional wood support should be
1”x1” wood sections that run along the top inside edge of the sides
and front of the vanity. The wood sections should be affixed to the
vanity using construction adhesive and wood screws that do not
protrude through any exposed sides.
Step 2
Top Installation: Apply a thin bead of 100% silicone sealer on the
cabinet-top edges. Place the vanity top on the vanity with an
overhang of ½” on the left and right edges. Allow the sealer to dry
per the manufacturer’s instructions.
Step 3
Backsplash and Side-Splash Installation: Be sure the wall is
clean, dry and smooth. Repair any holes or uneven sections using
a patching compound. Remove loose paint, any wallpaper or
decorative material. Apply two beads of caulking or construction
adhesive on the rear of the backsplash (and side-splash if
required) and push firmly onto the wall.
Step 4
Faucet and Drain Assembly Installation: Install the faucet and
drain assembly per the manufacturer’s instructions. DO NOT
tighten the drain pipe connection to the bottom of the bowl with a
wrench as it may result in damage to the bowl. Tighten only by
hand.
Side-splash, Faucet and Drain Assembly are NOT included

MARBLE CARE & MAINTENANCE
Your new natural marble vanity top has been factory polished to a
smooth finish and has had the initial protective sealant applied. In
order to properly maintain the surface, the following procedures
are recommended:
1. Reseal your vanity top no less than one time per year. Before
applying the sealer, all exposed areas should be completely clean
and dry. A high quality marble sealer is available for purchase at
your local Menards store. Follow the instructions on the sealer
container.
2. For routine maintenance and cleaning, you may wipe-off and
clean your vanity top with soap and water. Once per week, or as
needed with heavier use, use a stone spray cleaner or polish;
either of which are available from your local Menard’s store.
Follow the instructions on the marble cleaner or polish container.
3. Place protective pads on the bottoms of any heavy objects such
as pottery, vases, appliances or other objects that may scratch the
marble surface.
4. Liquid spills, such as alcohol, medications, etc., should be
cleaned promptly. Some liquids with high-acid content can etch
the marble surfaces if left for any length of time. Common
products that should be promptly cleaned are: shaving cream,
toothpaste, perfume, cologne, nail polish remover, hair coloring or
perm products, shampoo, drain opener and toilet bowl cleaner.
5. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or rough cleaning pads. If
necessary, a soft buffing pad can be used to remove stubborn
materials that may have become affixed to the top.
6. Use coasters under drinking glasses to prevent glass rings on
the surface.
7. Do not stand or place extremely heavy objects on the top.
