BIOS Setup
When to Use
You need to run BIOS Setup utility when:
• You see an error message on the screen requesting that you run BIOS
Setup utility.
• You want to restore the factory default BIOS settings.
• You want to modify some specic hardware settings.
• You want to modify some specic settings to optimize the system
performance.
How to Use
To run BIOS Setup Utility, press the Fn key when the Trimble logo appears on
the screen during system startup.
NOTE:
• The BIOS Setup Utility screens shown in this chapter are for reference only. The actual items
or settings on your Tablet Computer may differ.
• The settings you select in your operating system might override similar settings in BIOS Setup
Utility.
Key Function
◄ / ►
Selects a menu title.
▲ / ▼ Selects an item or option.
OK
• Brings up the submenu, if available
• When an item is selected, opens or closes the options
window
• Goes to the next eld when an item has multiple elds, such
as System Date.

Displays help
F2 + Up
Increases a value
F2 + Down
Decreases a value
F3
Returns to the previous menu if in a submenu.
