Technical Standards for Floor, Wall and Countertop Tile
CERAMIC FLOOR TILE
The Roca Tile Group uses advanced
technology and high company standards
to ensure long-lasting durability in our
floor tile. We single fire each tile for
superior quality and exceed industry
standards for frost resistance, bonding
strength, and abrasion resistance.
United States Ceramic Tile also has
superior glaze hardness, breaking
strength, acid/alkaline resistance. Trim
is available on some product lines.
WALL AND FLOOR TILE
The Roca Tile Group has consistently
exceeded all ANSI test requirements to
earn the distinguished Master Grade
Certificate (Blue Label) rating. This
means The Roca Tile Group’s overall
strength and appearance rank among
the very best in the business.
LIMITED WARRANTY
The Roca Tile Group warrants that it’s
First Quality (i.e. Standard Grade)
ceramic tile manufactured according to
ANSI A137.1.1988 and meet or exceed
those requirements. This warranty does
not apply to tile sold as economies or
seconds.
The Roca Tile Group makes no warranty
as to the suitability of its tile for a
particular installation. The Roca Tile
Group does not warrant that its glazed
or unglazed tile will not scratch, chip or
show signs of wear(except for certain
specific product lines which carry a wear
guarantee for a stated number of
years). If a tile product shall be
determined not to conform to the Roca
Tile Group’s warranty, the buyer’s sole
and exclusive remedy shall be
replacement of the product with tile of
compatible color and shade as
determined by The Roca Tile Group.
Labor and installation charges are
expressly excluded from this warranty.
The Roca Tile Group shall not be liable
under this warranty for any other
damages, costs, or expenses, including,
without limitation any incidental or
consequential damages. The warranties
set forth herein are in lieu of all other
warranties expressed or implied. The
Roca Tile Group disclaims all other
warranties, including implied warranties
of merchantability and fitness for a
particular purpose.
The Roca Tile Group Must be notified of
any claims or defects as soon as
reasonably possible, but in any case not
later than one year after the goods have
been delivered by The Roca Tile Group
(or within the stated number of years in
the case of a “wear” guarantee). This
notification must be in writing and be
sent by certified mail, accompanied by
proof of purchase to:

Claims concerning the shade,
appearance, caliber or obvious defects
in First Quality tile must be
communicated before the tile is
installed.
No claims will be accepted for defects in
other than First Quality tile (except for
wear guarantees) or tile already
installed.
