Hardware Installation Hardware Installation To install the Bullet M Titanium, perform the following steps: 1. Unscrew the Cable Gland Body and detach it from the Bullet M Titanium Radio. 2. Unscrew the Compression Nut and remove the Compression Seal from the Cable Gland Body.
Bullet™ M Titanium Quick Start Guide 3. Slide the Compression Nut over the Ethernet cable with the threaded end facing the RJ-45 connector. Slip the Compression Seal around the cable. 4. Feed the Ethernet cable through the Cable Gland Body and seat the Compression Seal into the Cable Gland Body. 5. Connect the Ethernet cable to the port located on the bottom of the Bullet M Titanium Radio.
Hardware Installation 6. Securely screw the Cable Gland Body into the Bullet M Titanium. Tightly screw the cable gland so that the Rubber Washer seals the bottom of the Bullet M Titanium. 7. Tightly screw on the Compression Nut. Ensure the rubber is securely compressed and tightly sealed around the cable.
Bullet™ M Titanium Quick Start Guide 8. Connect the Bullet M Titanium to the antenna. Note: The Bullet M Titanium should be mounted vertically to reduce stress on the N-Type Connector. The N-Type Right Angle Adapter may be used as needed. 9. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable from the Bullet M Titanium to the Ethernet port labeled POE on the PoE Adapter.
Hardware Installation 10. Connect an Ethernet cable from your LAN to the Ethernet port labeled LAN on the PoE Adapter. 11. Connect the power cord to the power port on the PoE Adapter. Connect the other end of the power cord to a power outlet. The hardware installation of your Bullet M Titanium is complete. Continue to the next section "Accessing the airOS Utility" to configure the Bullet M Titanium.
Bullet™ M Titanium Quick Start Guide Accessing the airOS Utility 1. Make sure that your host machine is connected to the LAN that is connected to the Bullet™ M Titanium. 2. Configure the Ethernet adapter on your host system with a static IP address on the 192.168.1.x subnet (e.g., 192.168.1.100). 3. Launch your Web browser. Type http://192.168.1.20 in the address field and press enter (PC) or return (Mac). 4. The login screen will appear. Enter ubnt in the Username and Password fields.
