Modular Usage The powerful 5 GHz WISP OEM Station (model: WSM5) is designed specifically for the WISP OEM market. The transmitter must only be used with the approved antenna(s). Please refer to www.ubnt.com/products for details. The WSM5 is compatible with existing Atheros Linux drivers and is only capable of 5745-5850 MHz frequency range per the FCC/IC grant. Power and frequency limits are hardcoded into the radio card EEPROM.
Important Modular Approval Information This device is intended only for the OEM integrator under the following conditions: • The antenna must be installed such that 66 cm is maintained between the antenna and users, and • The transmitter module may not be co-located with any other transmitter or antenna.
End Product Labeling This transmitter module is authorized only for use in devices where the antenna may be installed such that 66 cm may be maintained between the antenna and users (for example, access points, routers, wireless ADSL modems, and similar equipment).

WSM5 Important Operation Information FCC Part 15.247 (b)(4) (iii) – Professional Install Statement The professional installer is responsible for ensuring that the system is used exclusively for fixed, point-to-point operations. Installer Compliance Responsibility Devices must be professionally installed. Ubiquiti Networks does not allow operation outside of the approved 5745-5850 MHz frequency range.
