It also contains information and important notes for your safety and help in the event of problems. 1.1 The product: Cocoon M1450 TWIN This product has been manufactured in accordance with the uniform digital standard for cordless telephones (DECT). DECT technology is characterised by high-security protection against interception as well as high-quality digital transmission.
General Cocoon M1450 TWIN Any modifications or conversions by the user that are not described in this user guide are deemed improper and are not permitted. 1.5 Box content Check that the contents are complete and undamaged. Contact your dealer immediately if parts are missing or faulty. Save the packaging in case you need to return the device or have it repaired.
• • • • • General Children frequently underestimate the dangers of handling electrical devices. Never leave children unsupervised in the vicinity of electrical equipment. The equipment must not be used in a damp environment (e.g. bathrooms) or rooms where there is a lot of dust. Equipment connected to the mains during a thunderstorm can be damaged by lightning. Therefore, you should always pull the power supply plug from the socket and the telephone cable from the telephone socket during a thunderstorm.
General • Cocoon M1450 TWIN The handset can cause an unpleasant humming noise in hearing aids, therefore keep a sufficient distance away from hearing aids. The wall outlet for the power supply plug must be close and easy accessible. Only use the rechargeable batteries supplied. Only replace the rechargeable batteries with the same type.
