Distinguished Customer, This manual has been designed for our UFO Black Line models. You have purchased a high quality, efficient and original UFO-IR Infrared Heater. We would like to express our gratitude to you for your appropriate choice and confidence in UFO. Please read this manual thoroughly in order to attain a sustainable satisfaction with your heater. Please stick to the items in "Safety Instructions” section with strict observance.
WARNING – TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE 1) Do not place any objects such as furniture, papers, cloths, and curtains closer than 1m (3 feet) to the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear when the heater is plugged in. 2) Do not place the heater near a bed because objects such as pillows or blankets can fall off the bed and be ignited by the heater. 3) Always unplug the heater if it is not being used.
3. INSTALLATION 3.1 Installation Instructions Attention! The appliance must be installed on the solid surfaces like concrete, wood or metal etc. Never install on flammable surfaces! (plastics, nylon vinyl etc.) See pages I-II to come up with the most appropriate installation method for your UFO. UFO Black Line can be used horizantally or vertically, but for a higher heating efficiency we recommend horizantal usage.
6. Operating Instuctions 6.1 Definitions of the Buttons on the Remote Control The functions of your heater may be controlled via the buttons on your remote control and LCD screen. You may also control some of the functions of your heater through the buttons on the front side of the heater. Remote Control 1. 2. On / Off Switches on or off the heater or stands it by. +/(Program Up / Down) Adjusts program settings.. 3. Clock Sets the time. 4. Timer On Switches on the heater when it is in stand by mode. 6.
Off Time Settings Press Timer Off button. Press/ buttons to set hour and minutes. Press Timer Off button to save your settings. Sleep Timer Settings Warning! The time is to be set precisely and the heater is to be operating before using Sleep Timer function. Press Sleep button. Press/ buttons to set sleep time from 1 to 12 hours. Press Sleep button to save your settings. Remaining time will appear on the screen. Note: Press Cancel button to cancel all time settings.
Cleaning Attention! Regular and careful cleaning helps your UFO Heater operate for longer years and more efficiently. 1- Unplug your power cord for your safety before cleaning your appliance. Make sure that the power is off for your safety. Power cord plug must be unplugged. 2- Outer surface of the device must be cleaned by a soft cloth or by a smooth brush. Soft cloth can be damp and a suitable grease - dirt remover solution which will not cause scratches can be used.
9. Terms of Warranty Warranty by UFO does not cover the defects arising out of the improper use the appliance. The warranty does not cover the situations below: 1- The damages and defects arising out of improper use. 2- The damages and defects having occurred during the transportation after the delivery of the product to the customer by the company.
