Troubleshooting Guide
7. How can we troubleshoot it if the USB ports of the hub don’t work properly while the Ethernet
port works OK?
(1) Only connect a mouse to each of the USB 3.0 port to see if every USB port work well this
time?
(2) Connect the power adapter for extra power supply.
(3) It is not suggested to connect the wireless device to the hub, since the broadband noise from
USB 3.0 data spectrum is in the 2.4-2.5GHz range. If the antenna of a wireless device operating in
this band such as 2.4 GHz is placed close to any of the USB 3.0 radiation channels, it will pick up
the broadband noise. Thus it will affect the SNR (signal-to-noise ratio) and limit the sensitivity of
any wireless receiver.
8. What should we do if the TV stick cannot work with this Ethernet adapter with the hub?
(1) It only works with the TV stick if it is connected with a special-made Y-shaped OTG cable,
which has an extra power cord so the stick can be powered up.
(2) Check if the USB port of the TV stick and the OTG cable support connecting a USB device
and power source.
(3) Check if the TV stick work properly when using WiFi.
(4) Ensure the Ethernet cable and router work well.
(5) Test this adapter with a computer to see if the Ethernet adapter is faulty.
